Privacy
Belief is a conviction board with fictional BLF. This page is what we keep, and how to ask us to stop keeping it.
- Not money
- BLF is a score on this site. It is not currency, not a deposit, and not something we convert to cash.
- Identity
- If you sign in with Google we store your Google account id, verified email, and the name Google sent, so one person keeps one wallet. GitHub stores the GitHub id and login. We do not ask for a password.
- Session
- A signed httpOnly cookie (belief_sid) keeps you logged in. It is not your wallet id. Signing out deletes it, and inactive sessions expire after 30 days.
- What the board sees
- Your username, listings, and fills are public on the board. We do not put your Google email or user id on public API payloads.
- No sale
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your identity for ads. Analytics, if enabled, is page traffic on Vercel, not a dossier.
- Deletion
- Email the operator shown on the Google consent screen and ask to delete your wallet. They will remove the user row, sessions, and listings you still own. Positions already printed on the tape stay as anonymous fills.
Using the market is also agreeing to the terms.
